Atkinson Brignall Caring Dentistry has been providing dental care for the people of Sevenoaks since 2008 at their current location in Lady Boswell House; but Ian and Miles, and a number of our team have been working in Sevenoaks for almost 30 years each. We have seen generations of patients grow and we have deep connections with many areas of the community – not just in healthcare but in education and local community support.

Mrs Angela Wragg is a hygienist team member who has stepped beyond the ABCD boundaries on many occasions to enter local schools to educate and demonstrate good oral health instruction to generations of local school children. Angela has also been successfully appointed to the General Dental Council Fitness to Practice Board. Her wealth of experience in many aspects of healthcare allow her to support her fellow healthcare colleagues in times of need.

Many of those children visited in the school sessions have gone on to become patients of the Atkinson Brignall Caring Dentist Practice, Sevenoaks but all of them have been able to learn good oral healthcare practices that sets them up for life with a good understanding of what is required to look after their teeth – brushing effectively and eating healthily.

We have had open days utilising our Aquabubble – our dental health education centre where the children can learn through play and computer games. We look forward to the times when we can invite our children patients back to the Aquabubble to play and learn together again

We have all been affected by the impact of the Covid 19 Pandemic and we were forced to close our doors temporarily in the first lockdown. From the moment that we were closed, we were looking ceaselessly to ensure that when were allowed to reopen it would be as safe as it possibly could be. All healthcare professions struggled to find personal protective equipment amongst other things. We were able to help some of the local care homes and hospices when they were not able to source PPE initially. We donated what we could to The Emily Jackson Residential Care Home and the Hospice in the Weald. We all have to stick together!

Atkinson Brignall Caring Dentistry also regularly supports the local community in the High Street sponsored events and we look forward to the reopening of the town centre as a whole in the not to distant future.

We are located in the heart of Sevenoaks on the first floor of a wonderful Grade II listed building, originally built in 1818 as Lady Boswell School. We are delighted to say that we have our own dedicated lift.
